Manchester City travel south for their FA Cup fourth round tie against Cheltenham Town. Pep Guardiola’s side are unbeaten in all competitions since November, and they’ll want to continue that run today.
Here’s how Pep Guardiola’s lined us up…
—–
Taking up his usual cup duties, Zack Steffen starts in goal. Rotation was always going to happen, and Benjamin Mendy comes in at left-back. With the absence of Kyle Walker, Eric Garcia will slot in at right-back. And it’s finally a rest for Dias and Stones, who are replaced by Aymeric Laporte and Taylor Harwood-Bellis.
Fernandinho will bring the experience to a younger looking side at defensive midfield. In front of him is the more youthful pair of Tommy Doyle and Phil Foden
In the front three, Riyad Mahrez will be desperate for any kind of form on the right. Ferran Torres starts for the first time since his positive test for coronavirus. Up-front, Gabriel Jesus will be desperate for a goal.
