Following Barcelona Femení’s comfortable 4-0 away win over Sevilla on Saturday, manager Lluís Cortés’ side hit an impressive milestone.

After just 21 matches, this Barcelona squad full of power scored their 100th goal in the Primera Iberdrola this season through Marta Torrejón’s opener.

As the match went on, strikes from Lieke Martens and Bruna Vilamala brought the tally up to 103.

Combined with their equally impressive defensive record of only three goals conceded, Barcelona now have a staggering goal differential of +100.

In comparison, the club with the next highest goals scored is half Barcelona’s tally (Levante, 51) and Madrid CFF have the second-fewest goals conceded (19).

Currently sitting on a perfect 21-0-0 record, this squad has been running rampant in Spain, averaging 4.90 goals per match.

Their largest win margin was a thumping 9-0 win over Santa Teresa in December and veteran forward Jenni Hermoso is the team’s highest scorer (16) followed by Asisat Oshoala (15), Alexia Putellas (12) and Lieke Martens (10).

All four players currently sit in the top 10 league scorers with Hermoso in second, six behind Levante’s Esther González (22 goals).

While they stand head and shoulders above the rest of their Spanish opposition, Barcelona also remain dominant threats in Europe.

Just last week, Oshoala scored the opener in their 3-0 win over Manchester City recording the club’s 100th goal in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

With 13 matches left in the season, the club is on track to end the season with 155 goals if they continue their trend.

Just how far can Cortés side go?
