Shakhtar Donetsk full-back Dodô has revealed that Bayern Munich are interested in signing him this summer.
Coach Hansi Flick has made no secret of the fact that he is desperate to add a right-back to his side.
Such was his steadfast belief that the German champions must strengthen in that area, he convinced the board to sign Alvaro Odriozola on loan in January.
It appears that Shakhtar’s Dodô is now a top target as a permanent signing, although he has admitted that Paris Saint-Germain are also pursuing him.
“I’m very happy about the interest from those clubs,” the 21-year-old told Globoesporte.
“They are two of the best clubs in Europe. I’ve read stories about it and my agent has sent me information.
“But I’m trying not to be disturbed right now. I owe respect to Shakhtar and I’m doing well here.
“I’ll let my agents handle it. They are big clubs, European giants. There wouldn’t be a bad choice and it would be great to join one of them.”
The defender, who has only been capped at underage level, arrived in Ukraine in 2018 and has spent a season on loan with Vitória Guimarães.
