Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti's decided to leave out Vinicius Junior from the upcoming international break. The Selecao will meet Chile & Bolivia in the South American World cup 2026 qualifiers.

Reason for Vinicius Absence

According to Brazilian outlet Globo Ancelotti opted to rest the Real Madrid forward. Vinicius's suspended for the clash against Chile after picking up second yellow card in June’s qualifiers.

He'd also scored the decisive goal that sealed Brazil’s qualification against Paraguay.

The report added that Rodrygo & Eder Militao have returned to Ancelotti’s plans. The final squad list will be officially announced on Monday in Rio de Janeiro.

Brazil’s Qualification Standings

Brazil currently sit third in the South American table with 25 point after 16 round.
