The Brazil vs Uruguay Olympic qualifying match will be broadcast live online and on TV as the Verde-Amarela plays La Celeste at the Estadio Alfonso Lopez this Thursday, February 6, at 3:00 PM Pacific.
Brazil started the second round of these Olympic qualifiers with a 1-1 draw against hosts Colombia. Matheus Cunha scored the lone goal for the Verde-Amarela as it was his third goal in the entirety of the competition.
Matheus Cunha, Pedrinho and Paulinho of Bayer Leverkusen create quite the attack with 12 goals scored so far as a team. The Verde-Amarela defeated Uruguay 3-1 when they met in the first stage as it could be a similar result in this one.
Uruguay fell 3-2 to Argentina in its first game in the second round of qualification. Los Charruas gave it their all in that exhilarating clash with a goal by Ignacio Ramirez and a goal by Matias Arezo in stoppage time.
La Celeste has shown throughout the competition that it can score goals, but its defense can be very inconsistent. Club America striker Federico Vinas was very quiet in the match against Argentina, but has proven to be one of the better players on Uruguay.
FutnSoccer predicts a 2-1 win for Brazil as the Verde-Amarela has played better than Uruguay in this competition.
