They may have crashed out of the World Cup at the quarter-final stage, but the Brazil squad still received a heroes welcome back home in Rio.
The Seleção, led by coach Tite, arrived back at Tom Jobim Airport in the early hours of Sunday, and to some surprise, were roundly applauded by their fellow countryman.
Despite being one of the pre-tournament favourites, and impressing in their route to the last eight, the South Americans crashed out to Belgium on Friday evening.
Star man Neymar hasnât escaped criticism however, receiving widespread condemnation for his play-acting throughout the tournament.
It seems though, back home, he and the rest of the squad are as popular as ever.
