Brazil star Danilo on Cristiano Ronaldo: “He will know how to turn around any situation” | OneFootball

Brazil and Juventus defender Danilo has spoken about his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, stating that the Portugal striker can turn around any situation at hand.

Ronaldo was released by Manchester United following his controversial interview with Piers Morgan and he is said to be close to joining Al-Nassr. Recent reports have stated that Fernando Santos has been unhappy with Ronaldo after his spat with a South Korean player in Portugal’s last game in the group stages.

After Brazil’s 4-1 win over the same opponent, Danilo was asked about Ronaldo and he stated: “I can’t even comment on that. [Cristiano Ronaldo] is an outstanding player, an incredible human being and he will know how to turn around any situation.”

Portugal take on Switzerland in the Round of 16 of the World Cup later today, with doubts surrounding whether CR7 can start the game or not.
