Brazil recorded their first win of 2023 in a comfortable friendly against Guinea.
Scorers: Joelinton 27′, Rodrygo 30′, Militão 47′, Vinícius Jr (PEN) 88; Guirassy 37′
Joelinton marked his senior debut for the managerless Seleção by opening the scoring with a near-post finish at a corner.
The hosts doubled their tally just three minutes later as Rodrygo had the beating of Ibrahim Koné with a well-taken drive.
But Guinea reduced the first-half deficit at the RCDE Stadium when Serhou Guirassy rose to convert Idrissa Sylla’s cross.
Within moments of the interval, however, Brazil’s two-goal cushion was restored by Éder Militão rising to meet Lucas Paquetá’s delivery.
Vinícius Jr rounded off a comprehensive outing for the five-time world champions with a penalty just two minutes from time.
