Tite has named his Brazil squad for their upcoming friendly with Argentina and it is one which includes no players from the domestic championship.
Flamengo’s run to the Copa Libertadores final obviously restricted the use of their players.
But the coach has opted against calling up players plying their trade at home on this occasion, something he had been unwilling to do in the past and received much criticism for it.
Star man Neymar also misses out through injury and will remain in Paris as part of his recovery.
The full squad is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Alisson, Daniel Fuzato, Ederson
Defenders: Danilo, Emerson, Alex Sandro, Renan Lodi, Eder Militão, Felipe, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva
Midfielders: Arthur, Casemiro, Fabinho, Lucas Paquetá, Douglas Luiz, Philippe Coutinho
Forwards: David Neres, Roberto Firmino, Gabriel Jesus, Richarlison, Rodrygo, Willian
