Brazil head coach Dorival has this evening spoken out on his plans to make use of Endrick in the country’s next outing.

As much, of course, comes amid mounting calls for the frontman to be afforded a starting berth.

Endrick, for his part, is fresh off a match-winning display, when the Real Madrid-bound starlet notched the only goal of the evening in Brazil’s friendly meeting with England.

On Tuesday night, the South American giants will turn their attentions towards another high-profile outing, a showdown with Spain at the Santiago Bernabéu.

With Endrick set to call the Bernabéu home from next season on, it therefore came as little surprise when the possibility of the 17-year-old featuring from the off in 24 hours’ time was put to the aforementioned Dorival.

Brazil’s boss, though, was quick to shut down any such chances, in explaining:

“He is going to have a wonderful career. But Endrick will not start (against Spain). He will have his moment. I am sure that he will bring a lot of joy to Real Madrid.”

Dorival continued:

“What makes him special is his ability to define, trying plays that few would try, he is an aggressive player… We have to go step by step with him and let him make his way naturally, not have excessive expectations. He is in the first steps of his sports career. For sure he is going to have a wonderful career if he continues down this path.”
