Brahim Díaz has completed his move from Manchester City to Real Madrid.
The 19-year-old has been heavily linked with a switch away from the Etihad all season long after failing to force his way into Pep Guardiola’s first team.
And now it’s been confirmed that the midfielder will join the Santiago Bernabéu side on a six-year deal.
It’s thought the transfer will cost Los Blancos €15m with the teenager set to earn an astonishing €65,000 per week.
Díaz is just the latest player to come through the City ranks only to find his pathway to the senior squad blocked.
Last year Jadon Sancho left the club to join Borussia Dortmund and is now seen as one of the most exciting young talents in Europe.
But in a statement he released on social media, the teenager was thankful for the opportunities he received in Manchester.
Díaz will undergo his medical examination on Monday before then being presented to the gathered media.
