Real Madrid star Brahim Díaz has on Saturday moved to lavish praise on a fellow member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

As much, of course, comes fresh off another dominant victory for Real late this evening.

Fresh off booking their spot in yet another European final in midweek, Los Blancos turned their attentions back towards matters on the domestic front, in a La Liga meeting with the already-relegated Granada.

And, when all was said and done, the capital giants made short work of their hosts, en route to a 4-0 rout at Los Cármenes.

Front and centre in as much was the aforementioned Brahim Díaz, who enjoyed another outing to remember on Saturday.

Owing to a 2nd-half brace, the Moroccan international took his tally for the season to an impressive 12 goals across all competitions.

And yet, post-match, Brahim himself was keen to shift the focus away from himself, and onto another of Real Madrid’s headline stars.

After revealing that he now considers his Blancos teammates to be his ‘family’, the 24-year-old singled out veteran midfielder Luka Modrić as nothing short of a ‘phenomenon’:

“We are no longer friends, we are a family. They are my brothers and I wanted to thank Luka Modrić. He is a phenomenon.”
