West Ham United locked horns with Liverpool at Anfield earlier today as they hoped to earn a result on the road in the Premier League. The Hammers made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 16th minute when Mohamed Salah found the back of the net from the penalty spot. However, Jarrod Bowen equalised for West Ham with a great finish in the 42nd minute. Both sides went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

David Moyes’ men struggled in the second half and conceded their second goal in the 60th minute when Darwin Nunez scored with an excellent finish. Diogo Jota put the match to bed in the 85th minute with a good strike from close range. The match finished with West Ham suffering a lackluster 3-1 loss away from home.
