Former Roma man Edoardo Bove is still upset at the way he was prompted to move away from the Italian capital.
After joining Fiorentina and featuring in their 2-1 win over Lazio earlier today, Bove discussed the similarities between his and Cataldi’s transfer to la Viola following a painful separation from the clubs that raised them.
”It’s not true that we couldn’t impose ourselves at Roma and Lazio…” Bove said in his post-match presser.
“Today we saw how Lazio fans welcomed Danilo, it’s not obvious. The fact that he left something in the collective memory of the fans is the most important thing.”
“Danilo is the one I’ve been with the most in this period, we’re looking for a house and we’re in a hotel together. We both know what it’s like, but we have to focus on what we left in the place we left and it’s not obvious. Especially in today’s football.”
“It is said that there are no more club legends but it is not only the fault of the players, it makes me laugh because the club look at their own interests without scruples.”
“This led me and Danilo to go, we were no longer in the centre of the project. We took a note of it and moved on. Here we immediately felt at home.”
