Bournemouth will consider hiring Jason Tindall as Eddie Howe's successor.

Howe ended his 25-year association as Cherries boss this past weekend following their relegation to the Championship.

Tindall worked as Howe's assistant from League Two to their five-year stay in the Premier League.

And Sky Sports says the Englishman is weighing up whether to formally apply for the vacant managerial role.

Bournemouth owner Maxim Demin has vowed to back the club to return immediately to the Premier League.
