After 23 goals and 24 assists in 142 appearances across all competitions for Bayer Leverkusen during a four year spell, Amine Adli’s time at the 2024 Bundesliga champions is nearing its end. Foot Mercato report that Bournemouth have reached an agreement with the Moroccan forward with negotiations between the two clubs at an advanced stage.
Bournemouth have beaten Sunderland to the signing of the Bayer Leverkusen attacker, who also had interest from Wolves and Olympique Marseille. As reported on Sunday, Bayer Leverkusen had set a price tag of around €30m while Adli’s departure from the BayArena outfit had looked more likely following the arrival of Ernest Poku for €12m.
Bayer Leverkusen are also pursuing another attacking move with interest in Facundo Buonanotte (Brighton) and Maghnes Akliouche (AS Monaco) which would likely see diminished minutes for Adli, who missed a large chunk of last season with a broken fibula.
