Bournemouth have completed the signing of Hamed Traoré from Serie A side Sassuolo.
The Cherries have been active in the January window with moves for goalkeeper Darren Randolph, forward Antoine Semenyo, and winger Dango Ouattara completed ahead of deadline day, and then Illya Zabarnyi for £20m on deadline day.
Now Traoré arrived in a deal worth a reported £26m.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder started out in the youth ranks at Empoli, before joining Sassuolo in 2019, where he has become a regular in Serie A, making a total of 111 appearances for the club.
Traorè has put pen to paper on an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy in the summer.
An exciting prospect for the future, Traorè has already made four senior appearances for Ivory Coast, having made his international debut in 2021.
