Tyler Adams’ injury-hit start to life at Bournemouth continues to stutter.
The United States international moved from Leeds this summer for a reported fee of £23m but has barely featured for the Cherries due to a muscular injury from last season.
While things appeared to be turning around for Adams, the midfielder suffered another injury setback after making his first appearance this past week.
“I don’t know what to call it, a setback, but he is not feeling well,” Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola said on the situation.
“It is true that he is going to be out for some time, for sure. It’s his hamstring.”
The news will also come as a blow for the USMNT with Adams often captaining the side during major competitions such as the Qatar World Cup.
