Bournemouth could become a new potential destination for Roma striker Tammy Abraham who is increasingly being linked with a departure from Italy.
Abraham’s return from a long absence due to an ACL injury did not go as planned and now the Englishman seems to be on the margins of Roma’s project under Daniele De Rossi’s tenure.
In recent days more reports suggest that Abraham’s future is at a crossroads and that Roma are awaiting the first reasonable offer before parting ways with him.
According to Il Messaggero, in fact, Abraham’s sale will prove difficult as the attacker has barely played this season.
However, if an offer were to arrive it would likely come from the Premier League where Abraham still seems to drawn interest.
The newspaper claims Bournemouth – who recently appointed former Roma GM Tiago Pinto as their new sporting director – could come forward for Abraham in the coming weeks.
The Cherries are interested and Pinto could potentially reunite with the player he signed for Roma in 2021 from Chelsea.
For Roma this transfer would be hugely beneficial as it would free up a lot of space on the club’s wage bill and bring in some much needed revenue to fund the Giallorossi’s own signings.
