Roma striker Tammy Abraham is a known target for Milan, but now Tiago Pinto’s Bournemouth could step in, seeing him as the replacement for Dominic Solanke.
The English centre-forward was out for most of last season with a knee injury and is no longer part of coach Daniele De Rossi’s plans, especially with the arrival of Artem Dovbyk.
Milan have made no secret of their interest in Abraham, but are so far nowhere near the €30m asking price, trying to propose players in part-exchange or a loan with option to buy.
As the situation drags on, they find new competition for the striker, as Mirror Sport claim that Bournemouth are turning their focus towards him.
This is because they are selling Solanke to Tottenham Hotspur for over €70m.
Current Bournemouth President of Football Operations Tiago Pinto is the man who was in charge of Roma’s transfer strategy when bringing Abraham to the Stadio Olimpico from Chelsea in 2021.
An issue that weighed on Milan and may well do on Bournemouth too is the salary worth almost €5m net per season.
