After losing both Hiroki Ito and Waldemar Anton, Stuttgart are in talks to sign Juventus defender Dean Huijsen (19), but face competition from Premier League side Bournemouth. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, negotiations between Bournemouth are accelerating as they want to complete a deal, while the Bianconeri want to sell the Dutchman as they look to finalise a deal for Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo.

As further reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Huijsen was left out of the Juventus squad by Thiago Motta ahead of their training camp in Germany, further speculating that the now Spanish youth international will leave the club this summer.

Huijsen played just one game for Juventus last season, before joining AS Roma on loan in January, playing 14 games across all competitions. Borussia Dortmund also showed an interest in signing Huijsen this summer, but opted for Stuttgart’s Anton as a replacement for Mats Hummels, but Sport Bild did report that Juventus would expect a fee of around €30m for their defender.
