Sitting at the bottom of the Women’s Super League, West Ham were aiming for nothing but three points and boy have they hit the ground running.
Within the opening 11 minutes against Reading, the visitors scored not one, not two, but THREE goals from their five attempts.
The first was a stunning long-range effort from Kenza Dali after seven minutes to get the team rolling.
Kateřina Svitková scored the second and Martha Thomas managed to get in on the action as well and scored the third.
By the half-hour mark, Thomas scored her second to put the Hammers up 4-0 over Reading.
West Ham haven’t won in their last eight matches. Can they hold on and move up into safety?
