Derby County suffered a frustrating 2-2 draw with Shrewsbury Town at Pride Park on Saturday.

Paul Warne's side were 2-0 up and looked like they were set to pick up a valuable three points in their quest for a League One play-off spot, however two second half Shrewsbury goals meant the game finished 2-2.

Haydon Roberts opened the scoring for the Rams in quite sensational style after a rocket of a shot from outside the box, whilst the ever-reliable David McGoldrick made it 2-0 with a smart finish.

Though as aforementioned, second half goals for the Steve Cotterill's side from Tom Bayliss and Luke Leahy meant that the points were shared.

The result means the Rams do still sit inside the play-off spots in the division but it's now only two wins in their last six games and they'll need to start turning these draws into wins, if they want to cement themselves in the top six.
