Borussia Monchengladbach make contact for Lazio’s Daichi Kamada | OneFootball

Lazio midfielder Daichi Kamada has attracted interest from Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach, as he seems inclined on leaving Serie A after just one season at the club.

Kamada joined Lazio last summer on an initial one-year deal but he has struggled to make an impact. Daniele Longo has reported about the Japan international’s situation, as the midfielder is increasingly growing away from Maurizio Sarri’s project at Lazio. The player is also disappointed with how his stint has turned sour.

In January, Kamada had put a move to Galatasaray on stand-by as he wanted to turn things around at Lazio. But he still harbours the idea of playing in the Bundesliga again and contact has been made between his entourage and Gladbach, who are interested in a summer move. Kamada would like that as his next destination too.

It seems as if Kamada will not extend his one-year deal at Lazio and he would depart on a free transfer.
