SportBild reports that Borussia Mönchengladbach have submitted an offer for Arminia Bielefeld winger Robin Hack as the club begins their summer rebuild.

The offer for Hack is reported to be around €1.5m but Bielefeld are demanding €2m for the 24-year-old. However, in the case of relegation for Bielefeld, Hack could move on a free as his contract is only valid for the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga.

Gladbach have yet to improve their offer, which could indicate they will wait until the end of May to see where Bielefeld finishes. Bielefeld are currently 16th in the 2. Bundesliga and Hack has been one of the only stand-out players in a poor season for the former Bundesliga club. In his 31 games this season, Hack has scored 11 and assisted eight.

With the departure of Marcus Thuram, Gladbach are also looking for a striker and AZ Alkmaar’s Vangelis Pavlidis is the front-runner. The 24-year-old currently has 12 goals for AZ this season.
