Borussia Dortmund’s transfer business is done

According to Patrick Berger, Borussia Dortmund’s transfer business is as good as over.

It has recently been reported that Dortmund were willing to offload Salih Özcan and Youssoufa Moukoko before the end of the transfer window.

However, with Özcan set to complete his move to Wolfsburg in the next 24 hours as Moukoko finalises a move to OGC Nice, BvB’s summer selling should be over.

It is understood that Die Schwargelben are not considering offloading any of their first-team squad before Friday’s deadline once Özcan and Moukoko leave.

As for incomings, Dortmund are still exploring the left-back market.

Nevertheless, unless an affordable and exciting prospect is identified, then it is unlikely that the club will look to make a signing in this department.

It is also believed that Dortmund would still like to lure Jadon Sancho back to the Westfalenstadion, and the club are keeping an eye on his situation.

Regardless, it is not considered a priority at this moment in time, and once again, it is unlikely that the Englishman will return to the club this summer.

While it does appear then that BvB’s summer business has been completed, speaking to the Ruhr Nachrichten on Tuesday, Dortmund’s managing director Lars Ricken did explain that anything is possible:

“I will not rule anything out, even if not much will happen on the receiving side.”
