After the arrival of Erling Haaland, free-scoring Dortmund striker Paco Alcácer no longer wishes to play for the club and wants to make a return to LaLiga this month.
According to MARCA, the German giants want €40m for the 26-year-old, who has netted 26 times in just 47 games at the club.
Following an unbelievable start to life at Signal Iguna Park, Dortmund activated their €23m option to buy Alcácer outright from Barcelona last February and penned him to a deal until summer 2023.
However, with Alcácer’s request, Dortmund now want to make a profit from the player and Atlético Madrid are reportedly the team most interested.
Atlético, who are in desperate need of a striker, have also been linked to PSG’s Edinson Cavani in the January window.
