Sport Bild reports that Borussia Dortmund are interested in VfB Stuttgart midfielder Enzo Millot as they begin sourcing targets for the summer.

Millot is said to be of interest as he has a €20m release clause that is valid from the summer. On top of this Dortmund squad planner Sven Mislintat is in favour of the Frenchman as he was also the one to bring Millot to Stuttgart in 2021. However, there are doubts surrounding Millot as Dortmund do not want to give the impression that they get all of their best players from the MHP Arena after signing both Waldermar Anton and Serhou Guirassy in the summer.

Paul Wanner is also said to be an option, but due to his contract at Bayern Munich being valid until 2027, a transfer is unlikely as Dortmund will struggle to afford the likely transfer fee. Die Schwarzgelben had the option to sign Wanner back in 2018.

Leroy Sané was also discussed at Brackel due to his expiring contract in the summer. However, Dortmund would not be able to afford his salary which is currently at €20m per year, Dortmund are said to only want to give double digit salaries to outstanding players. On top of this, Sané wants to leave the Bundesliga if he leaves Bayern in the summer.
