Borussia Dortmund are hoping to have defender Dan-Axel Zagadou back in action next month.
The centre-back suffered a knee injury back in April and returned in June but was soon sidelined again.
Zagadou is yet to feature this season but could return within the next few weeks, according to sporting director Michael Zorc.
“We’re planning on having him in November,” Zorc told kicker.
Dortmund have shifted back from a back three to a back four in recent games, meaning the need for a centre-back isn’t as urgent as it was a few weeks ago, when Thomas Delaney was being used in the backline.
That could change again, though, when Zagadou and Emre Can return to action.
