Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the signing of Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, a 16-year-old left winger from the Manchester City academy.
Sporting director Michael Zorc revealed the transfer had been completed in a press conference on Thursday.
“We are very happy that he (Jamie) has chosen us,” Zorc said.
“Our scouting department has done an excellent job.
“He has joined our youth department and will initially play in the U19’s team. He is highly talented.”
Bynoe-Gittens has been on the books at Manchester City and registered an assist during his two appearances in the U18 Premier League season. The youngster has also been capped at England at U15 and U16 level.
