Borussia Dortmund may have found their new left-back.

According to Bild, Dortmund have ‘agreed personal terms’ with Hoffenheim’s Nico Schulz, who has a reported €25-30m release clause, despite rumors linking Filipe Luís to the club.

Schulz’s current deal with Hoffenheim expires in 2021.

Dortmund have been in pursuit of a new left-back and Marcel Schmelzer and Jeremy Toljan are apparently not in Lucien Favre’s plans for next season.

The 26-year-old has enjoyed a breakout season, scoring a pair of goals in addition to his eight assists in all competitions.

Hoffenheim bought the player from Borussia Mönchengladbach in summer 2017 for just €3m.
