Borkemans backing Origi for AC Milan success

Belgian coach Vital Borkemans has no doubts Divock Origi will be a big hit with AC Milan.

The former Liverpool striker is due to sign with the Rossonero in a Bosman transfer.

Borkemans told Gianluca di Marzio's website: “Lukaku is devastating, Origi will amaze you. They are strong physically and mentally, compatible and in some elements very similar.

“He doesn't feel pressure, he's not afraid of anything. He's ready to wear a prestigious shirt like Milan's. Divock at Lille with Girard was an outside player.

“In attack he can play anywhere. I believe, however, that he is not only a first striker but that he can also be functional behind a centre-forward or wide left.

“In the last two years we haven't seen the real Origi, because of injuries. But at AC Milan he can become decisive again."
