Foot Mercato are reporting that Bordeaux have struck a deal with Amiens for the sale of Senegalese centre-forward Aliou Badji (24), whilst the player has also agreed terms over a move.
According to Foot Mercato, the player is expected in Bordeaux later today in order to complete the move. The deal is initially a loan deal, which includes a purchase option of €4.5m.
Badji only joined Ligue 2 rivals Amiens earlier this summer after his loan move from Egyptian side El Ahly was made permanent for a fee thought to be just under €2m. During his first year in Ligue 2, he scored 13 goals in 26 games, averaging a goal every two games. However, he has yet to score in three appearances this season.
