Fabrice Hawkins reports this morning that Bordeaux midfielder Toma Bašić is set to join Lazio, with the club expected to accept the Serie A side’s €8m bid.
The Biancocelesti have placed a five-year contract on the table for the Croatian, having kept tabs on the player for the last few years.

The 24-year-old Croatian international leaves Ligue 1 after a three-year spell on the banks of the Garonne, having initially joined from Hajduk Split. Last year saw the midfielder complete his most prolific season, appearing in 34 league games and scoring four goals.
