How do you rate the chances of Newcastle United winning the FA Cup?
Eddie Howe’s team in great form, a seven match winning run that has taken them to fifth in the Premier League and potentially 90 minutes away from a League Cup final.
So what about the FA Cup?
As Eddie Howe has stated, no room for complacency.
However, a third round home draw against League Two Bromley has obviously given United a great chance of progressing to the last 32.
West Ham were knocked out by Villa on Friday night, whilst Arsenal are home to Man U, so if United can beat Brentford, plenty of the other 31 teams to progress could hand Newcastle another generous looking draw.
With no replays, it would be extra time then the possibility of penalties, if Newcastle were drawing with Bromley after 90 minutes.
So how do the bookies see it?
The generals odd available from various bookies for Sunday’s match:
Result after 90 minutes – Newcastle win 1/7 Draw 8/1 Bromley win 20/1
Which team to progress to fourth round – Newcastle 1/20, Bromley 12/1
Whilst the general odds from various bookies on which club will win the FA Cup this season:
9/2 Man City
5/1 Liverpool
15/2 Chelsea, Arsenal
11/1 Newcastle United
12/1 Spurs
14/1 Villa
16/1 Man U
25/1 Fulham, Brighton
33/1 Bournemouth
40/1 Forest, Everton, Palace, Brentford
66/1 Wolves
100/1 Ipswich, Leeds
125/1 Southampton, Leicester
