Milan Futuro head coach Daniele Bonera insisted that he saw growth from his side in Sunday’s 0-0 draw with Carpi, even if the attack struggled again.
After the narrow defeat to high-flying Virtus Entella, Bonera would have been hoping for a performance of similar quality, but his side were unable to break the deadlock despite some big chances.
After the stalemate away from home, Bonera spoke to Milan TV to give his thoughts on a tight contest that was probably a draw with some regret in the end.
coach of Milan Futuro , spoke about the draw with Carpi to the microphones of the Rossoneri thematic channel.
“The first 20/25 minutes we could have done better, from 25 to 40 we did better, then we definitely had to and could have won the match for the chances created. It’s a shame, but we’re on the right path,” he said.
“Emanuele Sala is a guy we already know from his time with the Primavera, he is a Milanista in every way. We are happy that so many young people can come with us, and so many Milan Futuro guys can then go to the first team.
“Magrassi [the new signing] has certainly given us a great presence. He is an important player who needs no introduction. He showed up with all the characteristics we were looking for, even on a human level. Great presence, availability and desire to give a hand to this group to grow.”
