Bologna nearing move for Toulouse’s Thijs Dallinga as Joshua Zirkzee replacement | OneFootball

Serie A side Bologna have lost Joshua Zirkzee to Manchester United but they seem to close to signing Toulouse striker Thijs Dallinga as a potential replacement.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the Dutchman is seen as a replacement for Zirkzee and the Rossoblu have found an agreement with the Ligue 1 club for the 23-year-old striker, who has impressed in the last couple of campaigns for the side.

He is now expected to join Bologna for a fee of €15 million plus bonuses, as the Rossoblu prepare to welcome an exciting new signing. In the last two seasons, Dallinga has played 86 games for Toulouse and has a healthy goalscoring record of 37 goals for them.

He boasts European experience and that will come in handy for Bologna, who will play in the Champions League next season. He scored four times in the Europa League last season, also scoring twice against Liverpool.
