Bologna are ready to rival Fiorentina to sign Inter Milan and Argentina attacking midfielder Valentin Carboni this summer.

Inter are ready to sell Carboni this summer.

The Nerazzurri have resisted offers for the teenage attacking midfielder in the past.

The likes of Fiorentina, West Ham United, and Brentford reportedly made bids for Carboni in the January transfer window of this past season. These were turned down.

However, Inter would consider cashing in on Carboni this time around.

The Argentine is returning from a successful loan spell with Monza. And the Nerazzurri see this as the right time to sell Carboni, in order to bring in money that they can reinvest in the transfer market.

According to Tuttosport, Fiorentina are ready to reignite their interest in Carboni.

And if anything, the Tuscan club’s interest in the 19-year-old has only become stronger.

That is because Fiorentina are on the verge of appointing Raffaele Palladino as head coach. Palladino is a big fan of Carboni, having worked with him this past season at Monza.

But La Viola are not the only team with an interest in Carboni’s signature.

Bologna are also keen to sign the Argentine, reports Tuttosport.

And the Rossoblu can offer Champions League football as an incentive, the newspaper notes.

Meanwhile, Tuttosport notes, Bologna are already enjoying the services of one player they recently signed from Inter.

Giovanni Fabbian joined the Emilians from Inter last summer. The Nerazzurri have a buyback clause worth €12 million ion the 21-year-old.

And it’s not just clubs in Serie A who are keen on signing Carboni, reports Tuttosport.

Teams in the English top flight are also taking an interest.

If an offer of €30 million or more arrives, then Inter would be willing to sell the Argentine, according to Tuttosport.
