Bologna are stepping up negotiations with Toulouse FC for centre-forward Thijs Dallinga, hoping to get a deal done for €15m plus bonuses.
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Rossoblu have found the heir to Joshua Zirkzee after his transfer to Manchester United.
Fittingly, it is another player from the Netherlands, although he is currently playing in France with Ligue 1 side Toulouse FC.
The asking price is circa €18m, but it is reported that Bologna are confident they can get it over the line for just €15m plus add-ons.
Dallinga turns 24 next month and had also been linked with Fiorentina earlier in the summer.
He has one senior cap for the Netherlands, earned in November 2023, which was after he made the €2.5m move to France from Excelsior.
Very tall and strong, he scored 19 goals and provided five assists in 44 competitive games last season.
