The Bolivia vs Argentina CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifying match will be broadcast live online and on TV as La Verde hosts La Albiceleste at the Estadio Hernando Siles this Tuesday, October 13, at 1:00 p.m. Pacific.
Bolivia is coming off a crushing 5-0 defeat against Brazil way from home in the first matchday of the qualifiers. However, this match will now be at the Estadio Hernando Siles, where opposing teams are known to struggle due to the immense altitude.
Veteran goalscorer Marcelo Martins Moreno did not start the game against Brazil, but is expected to start this match. It will also be interesting to see if manager Cesar Farias gives veterans Jhasmani Campos and Alejandro Chumacero an opportunity to start after not starting them against Brazil.
Argentina is coming off a hard-fought 1-0 win against Ecuador and will be looking to make it six points out of two games to begin the qualifiers. Lionel Messi led Argentina to the win with a goal from the penalty spot and was clearly the best player on the pitch.
Franco Armani had a quiet day in net to say the least as Ecuador had just four shots in the game and none were on target. The centre-back partnership of Nicolas Otamendi and Lucas Martinez Quarta was fantastic for Argentina along with fullbacks Nicolas Tagliafico and Gonzalo Montiel.
