The Boca Juniors leadership have informed the agent of Lucas Olaza that he will no longer be considered at the club.

The Uruguayan left-back was on loan until June, with a club option to buy, but he will not continue playing for Boca under the command of new manager Gustavo Alfaro.

However, the 24-year-old Uruguayan will not completely disassociate himself from Boca Juniors until he finds a new club, among which Talleres, owner of his contract, appears as a likely option.

Olaza, who started his career at River Plate (of Uruguay), featured in 11 matches for Boca.

Olaza has also played at Atlético Paranaense, Celta de Vigo ‘B’, and Danubio before arriving at Talleres in summer 2017 for an undisclosed fee.
