EXCLUSIVE!! Chelsea held an internal recruitment meeting on Sunday to make a decision on new signing this month!

Seeing as we all expected a quiet transfer window at the club because that is what we were all being constantly told was going to happen before it opened, we have been very surprised to see big bits of news such as a pursuit to try and sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace, and then late last night, the even more surprising news that Chelsea are in for Mathys Tel at Bayern Munich, and they could be signing Christopher Nkunku from Chelsea in return.

It’s literally all happening right now at the club. And you’d be forgiven for forgetting that it’s actually even a Chelsea match day today! The Blues face Bournemouth in the Premier League tonight!

Enzo Maresca believes Noni Madueke is “one of Chelsea’s best players” but has challenged the winger to prove it on a regular basis.

“I consider Noni one of our best players to be honest,” Maresca said in words picked up by The Evening Standard. “But because of that we want our best players to behave in the right way always. Not to switch off, not [to have] some days where they can drop. No.

“[We know] that during a season it’s normal that for some players they are not 100 per cent. But it’s not just about Noni, it’s about all the players.”
