Over 1,300 fans saw Cardiff City Women beat Wrexham in the Genero Adran Premier, while there was a big three points for Barry Town United.

Cardiff City Women’s 3-0 win over third-placed Wrexham at Cardiff City Stadium kept them top by a six-point margin. Eliza Collie’s first-half brace was added to in the latter stages by Tija Richardson.

Second-placed Swansea City took the points 2-1 at winless Pontypridd United. A Clare Daley own-goal and Katy Hosford effort had the Swans two up, Ffion Simmonds pulling one back.

Ponty are now eight points adrift at the bottom, after Barry Town United downed fourth-placed The New Saints 4-1. Danielle Broadhurst, Chloe Tiley plus subs Amelia Herbert and Aimee Deacon all netted for Barry, before TNS got a late consolation.

Llandudno hit Llanfair United for six to move three points clear of Connah’s Quay Nomads at the top. Airbus UK Broughton banked a fifth point in a goalless home draw with Rhyl.

Caldicot Town 4-2 Pontardawe Town (Att: 30) Cwmbran Celtic 3-3 Swansea University (Att: 46) Llanelli Town 0-5 Cascade (Att: 25) Coed Duon P-P Briton Ferry Llansawel

Cascade’s 5-0 win at Llanelli put them top of the table but morning leaders Briton Ferry have three games in hand. Cwmbran Celtic went fourth on goal-difference with a 3-3 draw against third-placed Swansea University. Caldicot Town defeated Pontardawe Town 4-2 for a first win of the season, which saw them leapfrog their visitors in the table.
