VI are reporting that ADO Den Haag are set to lose one of their key players from last season. Northern Ireland striker Lee Bonis, who as join top scorer for the side last season, is currently having a medical in England. It has not yet been announced where he will be going, but it is certainly a blow for ADO Den Haag.

Bonis only joined the side from Larne last season. During the 2023/2024 season in Northern Ireland, Bonis had hit a blistering 27 goals in 46 games. In 38 games across all competitions for ADO Den Haag, he scored 12 and provided three assists. The forward is also a full Northern Ireland international and while it is not surprising that clubs in England are interested, the Dutch club will certainly need to replace him this summer.

However, as VI are also reporting, there is a lot of chaos surrounding the team at the moment. They had been on the verge of appointing John van den Brom as their new head coach, but ownership group Bolt Holdings have apparently blocked the move. Instead, they want to bring in someone from within their network. As a result, the first training session ahead of the new season has been postponed.
