He has also spent time out on loan with Portsmouth back in 2021, where he 22 appearances in all competitions for the League One side, scoring once.

Now it seems as though the midfielder could be on the move again, in the final days of the current January transfer window.

According to this latest update, Blackpool have made an approach to Tottenham, about the possibility of signing White on loan for the rest of the season.

It is thought that a number of other EFL clubs are also interested in taking the 21-year-old for the remainder of the campaign.

However, it is said that for their part, Spurs are so far undecided about whether to loan White out, with the midfielder having featured on the bench for Antonio Conte’s side on a number of occasions recently.

There may be an argument that a loan spell for White could be worth sanctioning by Tottenham this month.

While he may be in and around their first-team, that is likely to amount to little more than a bit part role, that is not going to aid his development a great deal.

By contrast, a stint in the EFL would likely see him play more regular football, where he would likely be able to improve at a faster pace.

That could certainly be the case if he was playing in the Championship with Blackpool, which could stand him in good stead to make an even bigger impact for Spurs next season.
