The Lancashire side announced news of the deal via a post on their official club X account this evening.
Hack has opted to join Blackburn Rovers off the back of being relegated to the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division with former club Lewes last season. The centre-back made 11 appearances for The Rookettes in the Barclays Women’s Championship in 2023/2024 but she was unable to help the Sussex club avoid the dreaded drop.
The 22-year-old is a product of Brighton & Hove Albion’s well-respected academy system. Hack made three first team appearances for The Seagulls before joining Lewes on a dual-registration basis in summer 2020. The Rookettes made the deal permanent a year later.
It was Blackburn Rovers head coach Simon Parker that signed Hack at former club Lewes. She arguably enjoyed her best spell of form during Parker’s time in charge at The Dripping Pan. Hack will be hoping to shine for Parker again this season at her new club.
Hack is Blackburn Rovers’ fifth signing of the summer transfer window. The Lancashire club are expected to complete several more new signings before the 2024/2025 campaign kicks-off next month.
