Bizarre Raphinha vs Dembélé stat surfaces after Barcelona’s win at PSG | OneFootball

A head-turning statistic, centering on key members of the respective frontlines of Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, has come to the fore online.

Barca and PSG, of course, locked horns for the latest occasion late last night.

In the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie between the clubs, the latter welcomed Xavi’s troops to France’s capital, for a highly-anticipated clash.

And, when all was said and done, it was the evening’s visitors who emerged on the right side of the result.

En route to as much, both Raphinha and Ousmane Dembélé managed to find the net, the former to the tune of a brace.

And as much, as alluded to above, has since given rise to the most bizarre of statistics.

As revealed by Toni Juanmartí of Diario Sport, Raphinha and Dembélé have now scored the same number of goals at the Parc des Princes this season – two.

This, of course, comes despite the latter having called the ground his home since swapping Barcelona for Paris in the summer of 2023.
