Scott Booth has been relieved of his duties as Birmingham City Women head coach after just five months in charge.
He arrived in the summer after a successful time in charge of Glasgow City but collected just one point from his opening seven Super League games.
In addition, the Blues were eliminated from the League Cup by West Ham on Wednesday night, a result which ultimately led to Boothâs dismissal.
âIn light of recent results, the club has concluded that now is the appropriate time for a change of personnel to ensure the team keeps moving forward in a manner aligned with Bluesâ ambitions,â read a club statement.
âWe wish to place on record our thanks to Scott and wishes him every success in his future endeavours.â
Assistant Tony Elliott will take charge of the team for the weekend clash with Chelsea while a replacement is found.
