Birmingham City Women announce released and retained list

Birmingham City Women have announced the list of retained and released players following the conclusion of the 2021/22 season.
The Blues have offered new contracts to Jamie Finn, Emily Whelan, Eleanor Ryan-Doyle, Christie Murray, as well as exercising the option to extend Jade Pennock’s contract by a further year.
Discussions are ongoing with Lucy Whipp regarding her future at Birmingham City.
Veatriki Sarri was offered a new contract but has opted to depart Blues upon the expiry of her existing deal.
Marie Hourihan will be released upon the expiry of the contract, whilst Lisa Robertson will return to Celtic following her season-long loan spell.
The following players remain under contract for the 2022/23 season: Cecilie Sandvej, Harriet Scott, Louise Quinn, Lily Simkin, Sarah Ewens, Jade Pennock, Libby Smith, Lucy Quinn, Gemma Lawley.
