Birmingham City could be raided by a Championship club for one of their midfield talents, who would ‘fancy’ the move, according to journalist Alan Nixon.
Blues boss Chris Davies is in the final week of the window as he bids to make sure he has the squad needed to see the club through until January.
Davies has already given indications of his views on several players through his selection decisions and they have been noted by other clubs.
Birmingham midfielder George Hall is now a wanted man, with Championship side Blackburn Rovers plotting a swoop for him.
Rovers boss John Eustace is a firm fan of the 20-year-old, who is also wanted by other clubs.
Hall, it is suggested, would ‘fancy’ working with Eustace once again by making the move to Ewood Park.
The midfielder missed the majority of last season through injury and only returned for Birmingham towards the end of the campaign.
Hall came through the youth ranks at Birmingham and has been capped by England up to Under-19 level.
